Smile Hair Clinic

Designing Smile Hair Clinic, a hair transplant clinic in Ataşehir, Istanbul,with a highly functional program, aimed to create a next-generation medicalspace. The clinic focuses on attractiveness, memorability, masculinity, sterility, and technological innovations. Architectural design elements inspired by the brand identity, such as a blue color palette, metallic finishes, and advanced technologies, were incorporated to bring the brand to life and create a memorable experience.

The project reflects Smile Clinic's nurturing nature, transformation into atrue gentleman, masculine and classy demeanor, the excitement of starting a newchapter, and a human-centered approach. The design endeavors to create a spacethat positively promotes itself. Branding initiatives, graphic sculptures, andphoto corners were strategically placed to boost media visibility. The conceptof 'High-end interior as a showcase' influenced finishes, lighting, materialselections, and overall ambiance, catering to diverse usage scenarios.

The hair transplant procedure symbolizes transformation in terms of individual, emotion, and space. Therefore, the design focuses on creating aholistic environment that triggers user emotions and prepares them fortransformation. Balancing functionality and aesthetics, our approach aimed tomerge medical functionality with stylish elements. Parametric tools integratedabstract transformations of dot growth patterns observed in hair transplantprocedures, resulting in a timeless, digital, and innovative clinical design.

Artworks such as sculptures, graphic walls, and digital art enhance theaesthetic appeal of the space, fostering engaging experiences. Also mirrorswere strategically placed as architectural illusions to double the perceivedspace and create areas for user interaction. The project, a multi-storeyfacility with over fifty operating rooms, office areas, and on the top floor, aVIP lounge and additional operation rooms, is tailored to specific usagescenarios. The clinic was meticulously designed not only to facilitate medicalprocedures but also to deepen patient connections, instill confidence, andensure top-tier service. Every space was crafted with diverse interior stylestailored to their functions, aiming to create a lasting and deeply impactfulexperience, enriching the overall clinic ambiance.

Considering the predominantly male clientele of hair transplant clinics, amasculine environment was created. The transformation and confidence-boostingfeature of the podium designed for the entrance, combined with an iconicinstallation in the waiting area, enhanced by modern lighting and minimal yetimpactful furniture, sets the tone. The use of metallic surfaces, bold blueaccents, and natural, minimalist furniture combines strength with simplicity,reinforcing the clinic's aesthetic appeal.
