Buraydah Clinic
The Buraydah Clinic is a two-story facility designed to seamlessly combine advanced healthcare functions with futuristic aesthetics. Serving as both a dermatology and dental clinic, the project embodies ameticulous planning approach to accommodate a variety of operational and administrative needs. The layout features 20 clinic rooms, executive offices, meeting spaces, and other essential functions, ensuring an efficient andwell-organized workflow throughout the building.
At the heart of the clinic lies a striking elliptical volume, a key architectural element that anchors the design across both floors. On the ground floor, this central feature ingeniously conceals the irregular structural columns while serving as a multifunctional hub. It incorporates the reception desk area at the entrance, transitions into a meeting room at itscore, and evolves into a waiting area on its other side.
The design philosophy behind this decision is captured inthe motto: "Because a good curve sets everything right." The curvature not only contributes to a visually soothing atmosphere but also integrates practicality, ensuring that the space remains open and welcoming. By transforming an architectural challenge into an aesthetic and functional highlight, the elliptical volume embodies the clinic's harmonious blend of formand function.
On the upper floor, this elliptical structure continues to play a pivotal role, becoming the central point for the clinic’s administrative and operational functions. Surrounding it are key spaces such as the coordinator’s office, sterilization areas, and laboratories, along with other essential clinical management units. This centralization ensures both ease of navigation and efficient use of space, reflecting a well-considered design approach.
The color palette plays a crucial role in shaping the clinic’s identity and atmosphere. The contrast between navy blue and white creates a visually striking effect, lending the interiors a sense of both serenity and sophistication. This dynamic interplay is further enhanced by metallic reflections, which amplify the high-tech ambiance of the space, reinforcing the clinic’s futuristic vision. Together, these elements establish a strong initial impression that aligns seamlessly with the clinic’s brand identity, underscoring its commitment to innovation and precision.
The material palette further complements this modern aesthetic, combining functionality with elegance. The use of white-paintedwalls and white-painted glass surfaces creates a bright and sterile atmosphere, while wood-look vinyl introduces a touch of warmth and comfort. Frosted glass and clear glass elements maintain a balance between transparency and privacy, while anthracite vinyl accents provide a sleek, digital aesthetic that aligns with the futuristic vision ofthe clinic.
One of the clinic’s most innovative design elements is the incorporation of Multipurpose Niches, which serve as both functional and aesthetic displays for medical products. These niches integrate seamlessly into the architectural layout, contributing to the digital and high-tech look that defines the project.
To complement the clinical environment, the design includes a cosy lounge area, offering a space for visitors to relax and recharge. Enhanced by carefully curated artworks, this area contributes to the clinic’s therapeutic atmosphere. The presence of art throughout the space underscores the commitment to creating an environment that not only promotes physical healing but also supports emotional and psychological well-being.
